AI starts its own evaluation of human beings. After “Memoirs of a Murderer”, Director Irie Yu is back with a whole new suspense work depicting Japan after 10 years!

The world is now in 2030, just ten years away from our time. The percentage of working citizens is 50%, with the young generation only taking up less than 10%, and 40% being the elderly. While Japan is gradually heading to its path of destruction, AI (Artificial Intelligence) takes over and manages the information of all citizens and their health plans. Suddenly, the AI system goes berserk, and starts its own selection of humans by their age, income, family background, health, criminal background, etc. After evaluation, AI will start to kill those “valueless” people, and the country falls into a state of chaos!

After police investigation, the suspect of the attack is the genius scientist who invented the AI system, Kosuke Kiryu! Kiryu’s wife passed away due to the late approval of the AI system. During his escape, the police made use of a new AI surveillance system to track him down. However, what’s the reason behind the collapsing of the AI system?

Director Irie Yu returns to the big screen with a new challenge after “Memoirs of a Murderer”. The genius scientist Kosuke Kiryu is played by Takao Osawa, while Takanori Iwata plays the talented prosecutor Makoto Sakuraba. Kento Kaku holds the key to the AI system, and the police officers after the truth are played by Tomokazu Miura and Alice Hirose. The superb cast also includes Nanako Matsushima who plays the role of Kiryu’s wife.
