Lionsgate has become the latest studio to announce an overhaul of its release slate amid the ongoing Coroanvirus (COVID-19) situation. Among the films delayed are such highly-anticipated releases as John Wick: Chapter 4 and Spiral: From the Book of Saw.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the fourth John Wick film has been delayed one year, and will now arrive on May 27, 2022. Chris Rock’s Saw spinoff has been delayed one year as well, and will now hit theaters on May 21, 2021 — which was John Wick: Chapter 4’s original planned release date.

Other Lionsgate films to be delayed amid the reshuffling include The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, which is now set for release on Aug. 20, 2021; Fatale, which moves to Oct. 30, 2020; and Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, which moves to July 16, 2021. The studio has also announced new release dates for Voyagers, which arrives Nov. 25, 2020; The Asset, which arrives April 23, 2021; American Underdog, which arrives Dec. 10, 2021; and The Devil’s Light, which arrives Jan. 8, 2021.

Not every upcoming Lionsgate film has been delayed, mind you. The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent and Chaos Walking have both managed to retain their release dates of March 19, 2021 and Jan. 22, 2021, respectively. That said, the films Run and Jesus Revolution still lack official release dates altogether.

Said Lionsgate’s Damon Wolf, “As audiences from around the world head back to theaters, most will return feeling that specialness that only the traditional theatrical experience can offer. Lionsgate is thrilled to present such a wide variety of films with many more to come,” he continued. “From great branded IP to unique stories from new voices, the terrifying reimagined and some truly hysterical comedy, we join with our partners in exhibition in welcoming movie lovers back to their favorite theaters with something special for everyone.”
